Surf Like A Girl

Surf Like A Girls is a learn-to-surf and surf coaching summer camp that teaches the techniques and theory of surfing, surf etiquette and competition etiquette, environmental awareness, and nature healing and mindfulness. There are no age limits, and participants will receive 1 year free membership to the Surf Girls Jamaica community as well as free entry to Jamaica’s first all-women surf competition.

Liability Waivers *

• I hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating and/or enrolling my child/ward in the summer surf camp organized by Surf Girls Jamaica. I understand that surfing is considered an extreme sport and that there are certain inherent risks to my/my child/ward’s health. In consideration of being permitted to participate in this surf camp, I agree to release and discharge Surf Girls Jamaica its directors, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or to any property belonging to me while participating in the surf camp. I am aware of the risks and hazards associated with surfing, including but not limited to the dangers of water activities, ocean currents, weather conditions, and potential collisions. I understand that there are inherent risks and dangers involved in surfing, and I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my/my child/ward’s participation in the surf camp. I hereby certify that I/my child/ward am/is physically fit and have no known medical conditions that could prohibit participation in the surf camp. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to inform the surf camp staff of any relevant medical conditions or limitations. I acknowledge that I/my child/ward am/is able at any point during the session to opt in/out of any activity. I understand and agree that this liability waiver shall be binding upon my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, and that it is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the surf camp is taking place. If any portion of this waiver is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue to be in full force and effect. I have carefully read and fully understand the terms and conditions stated above, and I voluntarily sign this liability waiver. I understand and agree to comply with the rules, regulations, and instructions of the summer surf camp.
